Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in coastal Karnataka and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and interior Karnataka.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Saurashtra and Kutch. Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and in some parts of Haryana and Punjab. They were above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh and north Madhya Maharashtra.
Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in Orissa, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, south Madhya Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. They were below normal in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh and in remaining parts of Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of south Madhya Maharashtra and interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of Orissa, Vidarbha, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Manipur and Rajasthan and in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Marathwada. They were above normal in Meghalaya and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
They were normal over the rest of the country.
