Devotees throng Subramaniya Swamy Temple at Tirupparankundram
Madurai, Mar 25 (UNI) Hundreds of devotees thronged the Lord Subramaniya Swamy temple at Tirupparankundram, one of the six abodes of Lord Subramaniya, to witness the annual temple car festival today.
Lord Subramania Swamy and his consort Goddess 'Deivayanai' were taken around the hill shrine in a decorated car amid chanting of Vedic hymns.
Special poojas and 'Abhishekams' were performed on the occasion.
Elaborate arrangements were put in place for the festival, temple officials said.
