WB: Body of businessman found on NH-2

Hooghly, Mar 25: Body of a businessman was found on NH-2 (Durgapur Expressway) under Dadpur police station in this district of West Bengal today.

Police have identified the body to be that of 34-year-old book wholeseller Saifful Islam Mullick, a resident of Babnan village. His body bore stab wound marks.

Investigation has begun and the body has been sent for post mortem to Chinsura hospital, SP Rajib Mishra said, while adding that no arrests have, however, been made in this connection.

The victim's motorcycle was found lying beside him, which has been seized by the police.
