XL Telecom bags Rs 1,539 mn order for export

New Delhi, Mar 24: XL Telecom and Energy Ltd today said it has received order worth Rs 1,539 million for the export of solar panels to a power utility company in Europe. ''The company's subsidiary Saptashva in Europe is in the process of establishing the Solar Farms for Power Generation in Europe,'' it said in a statement. For last one and a half years, it has been investing heavily to bag orders for its products from Europe and the emerging US Market .

XL is focusing on the emerging Grid Connected Solar Solutions, which is growing at a fast pace as against the conventional Stand alone Solar Power Systems, the statement added. The total pending order booked for the export of Solar Panels with this order stands at Rs 6.75 biilion and the company is working at smooth execution of larger portion of these orders within the financial year ending on June 30, 2008.
