Rains likely in coastal Karnataka, Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh
Pune, Mar 24 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in coastal Karnataka and many places in Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manaipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Mainly dry weather will prevail in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and Gujarat and in some parts of Uttarakhand, Haryana and east Rajasthan. They were above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and in remaining parts of Haryana.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Vidarbha and south interior Karnataka and below normal in some parts of Telangana, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu. Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Manipur, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, west Rajasthan and north Madhya Maharashtra and in some parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, and Marathwada. They were above normal in Assam, Meghalaya,Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and west Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.
