TN Minister hospitalised
Puducherry, Mar 23 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi was admitted to a private hospital at Villuppuram after he complained of chest pain today.
According to police, Mr Ponmudi was returning to Villuppuram after a function to provide Rs one lakh financial assistance to the family of Palani, who was fatally struck by lightning two days back at Kangeyanur near Tirukovilur.
The minister's condition is said to be stable, police said.
