Court to hear petition against Mallika on Mar 26

Mumbai, Mar 23: A local court will hear on wednesday the petition filed against Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat for her alleged 'obscene' performance on December 31, 2006 in a five star hotel in a western suburb here.

A social worker Vinod Jain had filed a case against her, over her alleged obscene performance on the New Year's Eve. He had filed the case on the basis of Television footage of her performance.

Mr Jain stated in the complaint that the actress was wearing obscene clothes and dancing in a manner that was very offensive to indian culture.
