Britney's 'How I Met Your Mother' wardrobe to be sold for charity

Washington, Mar 23 : American pop singer Britney Spears' cameo on hit US sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother' is proving beneficial not only for her career, but also the environment.

At least six items of clothing worn by the pop star on the show will be auctioned off to benefit the Natural Resources Defence Council, reports People.

The auction will begin on Monday, March 24, right after the episode starring Spears airs on CBS.

The sale, which is being sponsored by the producers of the show, will include a navy print Juicy Couture dress, a yellow Nannette Lepore dress and a cream Nannette Lepore cardigan with blue flower details - all worn by Spears during filming.

Meanwhile, Britney's father Jamie Spears, who is the head of her conservatorship, wants to take her back to the family home and away from "bad influences". He plans to file a court request to get her away from the clubs, drugs, and cheating ex-lover Adnan Ghalib.
