8 killed, many injured in road accident in Rajasthan
Kota, Mar 23 (UNI) At least eight people were killed and 30 others injured today when a truck in which they were travelling overturned near Simalya village on the Kota-Baran Highway, about 30 km from here.
A police spokesman said people belonging to Banjara community were going to a nearby Sarola village to participate in a religious function when the driver lost control and the truck over turned.
The injured were admitted to the Maharao Bhim Singh Hospital.
Meanwhile, the district administration has announced exgratia to the affected as per the prevailing rules.
