Two killed, one injured in road accidents in HP

Shimla, Mar 22 (UNI) Two people were killed and another was injured in two separate road accidents in various parts of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh today, police said.

Two people were killed on the spot and another injured after their car skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Kumarsain in the district.

The police said the accident occured at about 1330 hrs.

The cause of the accident was, however, not immediately known, it said and added that a case has been registered and investigations are on.

In another accident in Shimla, one person was injured after his car fell into a gorge while he was reversing the vehicle in Vikasnagar area of the town.

The injured was admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) here where they described his condition stable.

A case has been registered and investigations are on, police added.
