Prohibitory orders remain in place in MP town, situation normal

Khandwa, MP, Mar 22 (UNI) Prohibitory orders continued to remain in force on the second day today after it was imposed following a stone-pelting incident during a Milad-un-Nabi procession yesterday.

Additional police were deployed in the area as precautionary measure. Holi was celebrated peacefully. No untoward incident was reported.

Some people were arrested on the basis of suspicion in connection with yesterday's incident.

Police had to use mild force to control the situation after the stone-petlting incident yesterday.
