One person killed and 21 others injured in two accidents

Hubli, Mar 22 (UNI) One person was killed and 21 others were injured in two separate road mishaps in the district today.

According to the police, one person was killed and 17 were others injured when a van and a mini lorry collided near Ranebennur in Haveri district on Pune-Bangalore National Highway during the early hours today.

In second mishap, four people were injured when a tempo carrying vegetables collided with a car in Hubli city this afternoon.

All the injured were admitted to the government hospital Haveri and KIMS here, police added.
