Kokje urges on women empowerment

Shimla, Mar 22: Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje has emphasised the need on drawing a strategy to explore possibilities of marketing products manufactured by women in the state.

This could strengthen the economic condition of women besides increasing their decision making power, Kokje said here. Mr Kokje said women's empowerment in real sense could be achieved when organisations, individuals and corporate houses take initiatives to provide opportunities to women to gain economic freedom and dignity in the society.
