Holi celebrations marred by group clash in Byculla
Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) The Holi celebrations at Byculla here were marred by a clash between two groups over sprinkling of colour this afternoon.
A group of people entered the Shankeshwar Building at Byculla and started putting colours on the residents, eyewitnesses said.
This angered the residents and a heated argument ensued between the two groups and few persons were manhandled.
Some of the residents lodged a complaint with the police.
The police on arrival at the spot resorted to a mild lathicharge to disperse themob. Ten persons suffered minor injuries in the cane charge.
Later, the residents took out a ''morcha'' to the Byculla police station demanding the arrest of the intruders.
