Holi celebrated with gaiety and fervour in HP

Shimla, Mar 22 (UNI) Holi, the festival of colours was celebrated across Himachal Pradesh with traditional gaiety and fervour.

The celebrations started late in the state capital of Shimla as the clouds kept people indoors.

By the early afternoon though, big crowds were seen in the town where people sprayed each other with coloured.

The locals often drenched the passing tourists, who did not seem to mind and sometimes joined in the celebrations.
