Security heightened at Ram Janmabhoomi

Ayodhya, Mar 21 (UNI) Tight security arrangements have been made for ensuring peace across the sensitive Ram Janmabhoomi Complex on Holi and Barabawat.

Superintendent of Police (city) Gopesh Nath Khanna said PAC and Rapid Action Force in strength had been garrisoned across the holy city.

Police in civvies had been deployed around all the mosques in Ayodhya and Faizabad to maintain peace during the Barawafat procession.

A large number of police had also been stationed on at all railway stations, trains and bus terminals to prevent any untoward incident during the festive season.

Security had also been hiked at all the communally sensitive districts of the state like Aligarh, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Moradabad, Mau, Azamgarh and Gorakhpur.
