Man run over by temple cart in Tamil Nadu

Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu, Mar 21: A 40-year-old person was killed when a temple cart of Pushpavaneswarar Temple ran over him at Thirubhuvanam here today.

Police said P Pandi of Vadakkur village, who was in an inebriated condition, was caught between the wheels while the cart was being pulled by the devotees.

Though he was rushed to Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH) at Madurai, he succumbed to his injuries, police added.
