Gujarat govt's e-Gram project bags award
Ahmedabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Gujarat Government's e-Gram Vishwa Gram Project has been awarded prestigious Scrotch Challengers-2008 Award for effectively implementing rural empowerment by e-governance.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the department for the achievement.
The Rural Development department has covered all gram panchayats of the state by broadband.
The awarded was given away to the representative of the Gujarat government at the Scrotch Challangers summit organised in Delhi recently.
