DFP to screen films in 50 bordering villages of Tripura

Agartala, Mar 21: Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP) under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) would go to as many as 50 villages in southern most sub-division of Tripura Sabroom to conduct film shows, rural sports competitions and exhibitions in next fortnight.

I&B officials here today said that three units from Agartala and Kailashahar of Tripura and Shillong of Meghalaya had joined the campaign from March 18 for 10 days in the less developed helmets along Indo-Bangladesh border.

The units loaded with DVD player, screen, and pictorial exhibition kits would roam the villages and conduct the shows at schools and panchayat halls on Sarva Shiksa Abhiyan, women empowerment, right to information, anti-dowry practice, Swarojgar Yojna etc besides, conducting nine special programme like sports competitions, quiz competition and sit and draw contests would be organised for rural mass.

The DFP has participated in publicity campaigns of five day long Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign began today at Satchand HS School.
