CPI(ML) workers to take out march to Assembly
Puducherry,Mar 21: Members of the rural workers movement of the CPI(ML) affiliated to the All India Agricultural Labourers Association will march to the legislative Assembly here on March 27 when Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy presents the annual budget, to press their demands.
Mr M A Akber, Convenor of the movement told reporters today the agitation was to press the government for provision of two acres of land to landless agricutural labourers and a five cent plot for houses to the poor farmers, both in rural and urban areas, recognition of labour unions and devolution of powers to elected local body representatives, among other things.
