Clint Eastwood set to return as 'Dirty Harry'

London, Mar 21 : Clint Eastwood will be stepping into the role of tough cop Dirty Harry once again at the ripe old age of 77.

The actor played the role of Harold Francis "Dirty Harry" Callahan, a San Francisco Police Department inspector in five films in the series - Dirty Harry (1971), Magnum Force (1973), The Enforcer (1976), Sudden Impact (1983), and The Dead Pool (1988).

And, he's now set to return as the tough cop once again.

The movie will also mark the five times Academy Award winning actor's return to the big screen.

The movie will see Callahan coming out of retirement to avenge his grandson's murder.

A source revealed that the flick would be Eastwood's last action film.

"Clint sees this as his final action film. He's looking forward to playing Harry again. But it'll be realistic - he'll be an old man," The Sun quoted the insider, as saying.
