Mumbai, Mar 21 : Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has unveiled the first promo for his upcoming movie 'Bhoothnath' here recently.

Bachchan is playing the role of friendly ghost in this flick.

The film revolves around the ghost of a grandfather (played by Bachchan) that appears to his grandson. He has worked with many child actors in his career and most of them usually enjoy working with him.

Child actor Aman Siddiqui, who has worked with Bachchan in several advertisements, is playing the role of the kid.

"He (ghost in the movie) is a very benevolent ghost. Initially, he is a bit frightening but later on he gets very happy and friendly with this young man (Aman Siddiqui, a child actor). Working with kids is always a great joy. Sometimes it's very painful because they always upstage you. They are always better than you. And you have to be on guard all the time and Aman is a wonderful example of that," said Bachchan.

Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla is playing lead role along with Bachchan in director Vivek Sharma's debut movie. She plays the role of the child's widowed mother.

"It's a lovely film. You will laugh and at the end I am sure you will be crying. It is a lovely roller coaster, lots of fun and entertainment and then its very emotional at the end," said Chawla.

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan will also be seen in the flick but in a guest appearance.

Contrary to the name, the film is hardly spooky as it projects a congenial relationship between a kid and the ghost of an old man. To make the matters humorous, this jovial ghost appears suited-booted and sings and dances rap numbers with the kid.

The B.R. Films production 'Bhoothnath' is all set to hit the theatres in May 9.
