RSS chief calls for peaceful resolution to Tibet problem
Nagpur, Mar 20 (UNI) Describing the Chinese reaction to the peaceful protests in Tibet as ''inhuman and cruel'', Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief K S Sudarshan today appealed to the world community to pressurise the Chinese government to accept a peaceful resolution to the problem in Tibet.
Mr Sudarshan said that Tibet is an integral to the security of India and hence, in the present moment of crisis, the RSS stood by the Tibetan people in their struggle to protect their identity and honour. The ''cruel and inhuman treatment'' meted out to the ''peaceful'' Tibetan protestors by the Communist Chinese government has delivered a rude shock to the sensitive, peace-minded people all over the world, he said in a release.
The protests have shown the Chinese government's claims to be a lie, that under its regime, there has been a great development in Tibet and the people are satisfied with its rule.
