Paul Giamatti to star in 'Duplicity'

Washington, Mar 20 : Paul Giamatti has joined Clive Owen, Tom Wilkinson and Julia Roberts in director Tony Gilroy's 'Duplicity,' a drama based on David McCullough's book.

Gilroy penned the script for Universal's film, in which Giamatti plays an industrialist engaged in a fierce game of corporate one-upmanship against a rival titan, played by Wilkinson, reports Variety.

Roberts and Owen play two spies-turned-corporate operatives who work on opposite sides but are having a clandestine love affair

Billy Bob Thornton is in talks to join the cast.

The film's producers are Jennifer Fox and Kerry Orent, who will reunite with Gilroy after the Oscar-nominated 'Michael Clayton,' with Laura Bickford also producing.
