Srinagar: 1 amongst 18 injured in blast dies

Srinagar, Mar 20: One of the 18 people injured in the Srinagar blast on flyover near busy Jehangir Chowk here yesterday, died in hospital late last night, official sources said.

The injured, identified as Abdul Hamid Bhat, resident of Loolipora Chadoora, died in hospital, they said.

This was the first IED blast in the city after more than six months.

Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast.
