Newly married woman raped and killed

Samastipur, Mar 20: Unknown miscreatns raped and killed a newly married woman at Lashkara village under Tajpur police station in the district.

Police said here today the miscreants abducted the daughter of Laldev Chaudhary, a native of Lashkara village, raped and later killed her last night.

Police recovered the body from a field near the village this morning, sources said, adding that the body had been sent for post-mortem to the local Sadar Hospital.
