Children's Film Fest under Bharat Nirman prog in Tripura

Agartala, Mar 20: As part of the observance of Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign in South Tripura, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has organised a three-day Children's Film Festival here from March 22.

Official sources said here today that the festival has been organised by the Directorate of Field Publicity and Press Information Bureau with the assistance of Panchayat Samiti and a good number of award-winning children's films would be screened at the festival. The widely-acclaimed film ''Gopi Gain Bagha Bain'' by Satyajit Ray would be screened at the inauguration and on the succeeding days, two shows each day will be screened at 1030 hours and 1530 hours respectively.

The festival has been organised in the context of the five-day long fourth round of Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign beginning from tomorrow in South Tripura, the officials added.
