Chidambaram thanks CM for TN Govt's decision to start college

Chennai, Mar 20 (UNI) Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram today thanked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for the state Government's decision to start a Medical College in Sivaganga, his Lok Sabha constituency.

In a statement here, he said he was thankful to the Chief Minister for having considered his request to start a Medical College in his home constituency.

He also thanked Finance Minister K Anbazhagan, who announced the starting of the college in the state Budget for the year 2008-09 UNI WS GKT SBC RS1829
