Royal family collects antique gramophones

Lucknow, Mar 19, 2008 : Descendents of the Royal Awadh family in India"s northern Lucknow boast of a rare collection of gramophones and records. Members say that their family has been collecting gramophones from all over the world since generations.

Today, their highly maintained collection includes rare gramophones and records of the 1892 – 1978 period, including MGM, Megaphone, Colambia, Grophones, Concern Record, The Twin, Parlephone and Zonophone records.
