Rupee gains further ten paise against USD

Mumbai, Mar 19: Following the early rally in the Indian equity market, Rupee pared the gains to reach at 40.41/42 against US Dollar from its previous close of 40.51/52 per Dollar on some positive global cues.

The local unit strengthened against Dollar in the opening trade after the US Federal Reserve cut the key interest rate late night. It was trading in a range band gap between 40.41 and 40.51 per Dollar, dealers said.
