Pooja Bhatt condemns attack on nuns and Advasis in Alibag
Mumbai, Mar 19 (UNI) Bollywood film director Pooja Bhatt today condemned the recent attack on nuns, Adivasi girls, tribals and Christians by anti-social elements at Alibag in Raigarh district.
Speaking at a press conference here, organised by the Catholic Secular Forum (CSF), Ms Bhatt said she was shocked to hear about the attack on poor and helpless Adivasis and nuns, who were working in the area for the last 15 years for betterment of Adivasi people.
CSF General Secretary Joseph Dias said on March 15, the forum had organised the ''Mahila Melawa'' programme to create awareness about AIDS when a group of 50 young and middle-aged people targeted two nuns and minor Adivasi girls.
