Kent RO targets 25% market share by 2010

New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) Water purifier company Kent RO Systems today said it targets a revenue of Rs 200 crore by 2010 through quality products and increase in its distribution network.

''We intend to increase our marketing network to over 200 distributors and 2000 dealers. Our target is to capture a 25 per cent market share within the next two years,'' company Managing Director Mahesh Gupta told reporters here.

We are already exporting to Pakistan, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and are looking for some more countries. We are also coming up with our third manufacturing unit in Greater Noida, Mr Gupta added.

The company has 300 distributors and 1,000 dealers and has two manufacturing units in Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

Kent RO, which is present in all the major metros and A class cities, is now focussing to go regional with a planned investment of Rs 15 crore for its new advertising campaign in 2008-09.

''After delivering a message of safe and healthy drinking water, our 2008 campaign will focus on improving the taste of water, by removing dissolved impurities, and making it pure and healthy,'' Mr Gupta said.

The ad-campaign will feature Hema Malini, actress and MP, alongwith her two daughters Ahana Deol and Esha Deol, who are the official brand ambassadors for Kent RO Systems Ltd.

The Indian water purifying industry is growing at over 20 per cent per annum.
