Grange Hill' voted 'The Best Ever TV Show for Kids'

London, Mar 19 : 'Grange Hill' has been voted 'The Best Ever TV Show for Kids' in a poll of 5,000 adults.

John Sewell, spokesman for OnePoll.com which carried out the survey, said that that the reason the show topped the list because people still held fond memories of watching it in their youth.

"Everyone over 30 remembers coming home from school and watching Grange Hill's Gripper, Roland and Tucker Jenkins," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

Coming in a close second spot on the internet poll was 'The Muppet Show', followed by the 'Tom and Jerry' in third place.

The BBC has decided to axe 'Grange Hill' after its 31st and final series hits screens this summer.

The show has been running for the past 30 years.
