AP Govt to organise 'Prajapatham' from Apr 7

Hyderabad, Mar 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today announced Prajapatham (government at people's door steps) programme would be conducted from April seven to May three to solve problems in villages and urban areas in the State.

Interacting with the district collectors by video conference from here, Dr Reddy directed them to make all arrangements for asset distribution to the beneficiaries on May 12 in all district headquarters.

Besides, Ryotu Chitanya Yatras (farmers awareness programmes) would be organised from May 17 to June three, Ryotu Sadassulu between June five and nine, third phase of Indiramma from June ten to 25, Indiramma Sambaralu between June 28 to July five and second phase of INDIRAMMA Villages Visit from July ten to 25 in the State.

Directing the officials conduct Ryotu Sadassulu at irrigation project sites in every revenue division, he instructed them make sure cement was provided from the companies to complete houses under INDIRAMMA.

The Chief Minister said the officials should create awareness on the Rajiv Arogyasri, Rs 2 per Kg rice scheme, Indira Life Insurance Scheme and Employement Guarantee Programme among the people during Prajapatham, an official release said.
