Kidman hasn't asked Clooney to be baby's godfather: Re

Washington, Mar 18 : Hollywood actor George Clooney's representative has slammed rumours that the 'The Perfect Storm' star has been asked by Nicole Kidman to act as her child's godfather.

Reports had claimed that Kidman saw her 'The Peacemaker' co-star as the 'ideal' godfather material and was determined to get him to step into the role.

However, Clooney's long-standing representative Stan Rosenfield cleared the dust and has laughed off the claims, stating Kidman has not asked the actor to be the child's religious guide.

"They are friends, but George was not asked to be the godfather," Contactmusic quoted Rosenfield, as saying.

Kidman is expecting her first biological child with country star Keith Urban. She earlier adopted two children with ex-hubby Tom Cruise.
