'Titanic' named greatest ever movie blockbuster

London, Mar 17 : Oscar-winner 'Titanic' starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet has been voted the greatest ever movie blockbuster in a poll of 6,000 film fans.

James Cameron's 1997 romantic drama, which grossed a record 500 million pounds, beat out the 2005 remake of 'King Kong,' which took the second place, reports the Sun.

'Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring' landed the third spot while 'Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi' stood fourth.

Rounding off the top five was Steven Speilberg's 'Jurassic Park.'
