Chinese delegation visits East Coast Railway

Bhubaneswar, Mar 17 (UNI) A 13-member high level Chinese delegation, led by Sino-India Railway Co-operation Working Group Director W U Wei, today held discussion with East Coast Railway General Manager A K Goyal here to make Bhubaneswar a world class railway station.

The Chinese delegation, which arrived here yesterday, visited Bhubaneswar station and the proposed site of New Bhubaneswar station near Barang today.

The group would study various pros and cons of the proposal for developing Bhubaneswar a world class station.

The high level delegation would have discussion at the Railway Ministry level regarding further modalities of the project after completing their field trip, railway sources said here.
