BJP protests Sarabjit's death sentence, Musharraf burnt in effigy

Kanpur, Mar 17 (UNI) Protesting the issue of death sentence against Indian national Sarabjit Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha activists today burnt Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf in effigy at Bara Devi crossing here today.

Ranting anti-Musharraf slogans, the Yuva Morcha activists burnt his effigy, demanding Sarabjit's safe return.

Sarbajit was condemned to death for his alleged involvement in four bomb blasts in Pakistan during 1990.

The mob further demanded Sarabjit's release from Pakistan Jail.
