Sarah Michelle Gellar in talks to star in 'Veronika Decides to Die'

Melbourne, March 16 : Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar is in the final stage of negotiations to star in the indie drama 'Veronika Decides to Die'.

The film, based on a novel of the same name, revolves around a severely depressed woman who rediscovers her will to live after learning that she has only days left, as a result of the irreparable damage she suffered after her suicide attempt.

According to Moviehole, Emily Young will direct the film.

Previously, 'Superman Returns' star Kate Bosworth was attached to the project.
