6-Kg RDX, chinese explosives seized in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 16: Security forces recovered about six kg of RDX, Chinese grenades and a cache of ammunition from twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu, official sources here today said.

Based on specific information last evening, troops of district police, 17 Punjab and SSR launched a search operation and busted a hideout in Chakli forests of Dharamshala area in Rajouri district. ''About 6-kg of RDX, four Chinese grenades and 50 AK rounds were recovered from the dump of explosives and ammunition'', sources told to the sources.

Meanwhile, another militant hideout was busted by the security forces at Katarlay ban in Sarhuti in Gursai area of Poonch district. ''One AK rifle, three magazines, 56 rounds, one IED, 11 pistol rounds and two grenades were recovered from the spot,'' official sources said.
