'The English have raped and pillaged the Welsh': Sienna Miller

London, Mar 15 : Hollywood actress Sienna Miller has launched a ferocious attack on the British Monarchy and people, accusing them of 'raping and pillaging' the Welsh.

The 26-year-old American-born actress, who was brought up in London, had reportedly told her friends that the people of Wales have been raped and pillaged by the English for so long.

According to sources, Miller told her pals: "I love Wales. I think it is the most beautiful country in the world and the people were just gracious and lovely considering they have been raped and pillaged by the English for so long."

Miller, who fell in love with the country while filming The Edge Of Love with Keira Knightley, is also planning to move to Wales with beau Rhys Ifans.

"Sienna is so besotted with Rhys that she has decided to learn Welsh to show him the depth of her commitment," the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.

"Rhys and Sienna are looking for a cottage in Snowdonia, a couple of hours drive from his home town of Ruthin.

"They have both become increasingly stressed by city life and the attention they get and they want a retreat together where they can read, cook, and go for long walks with the dogs," the source added.
