Pachouri exhorts Congressmen to get together
Indore, Mar 15 (UNI) Newly-appointed Madhya Pradesh Congress President Suresh Pachouri today urged party workers to get together in view of assembly elections slated to take place in the state by the end of this year.
Mr Pachouri, while addressing a conference of party workers of Indore division, exhorted Congressmen to stand firmly against the atrocities of the BJP Government.
He said while a message of unity was coming from the Congress, internal dissension within the BJP was not hidden from anyone.
Alleging that false cases were being registered Congress leaders and party workers, Mr Pachouri said injustice would not be tolerated.
''The BJP Government is trying to take the credit of central schemes of the UPA Government such as the Employment Guarantee Scheme and the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojna,'' he alleged.
Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kantilal Bhuria, Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia and state Congress Election Campaign committee chairman Ajay Singh were present.
