MSME to help NE entrepreneurs in international trade fair
Agartala, Mar 15 (UNI) The Micro, Small&Medium Enterprises (MSME), a central agency, has invited application from small and medium entrepreneurs of the Northeast for participation in trade fairs to be held in Asia and Europe in June.
The MSME would provide logistic support and financial assistance to the entrepreneurs for taking part in any of the fair to be held in China from 18-22 June, in South Korea from 23-26 June and in Italy from 16-19 June.
The participants can avail Small Scale Industry's help up to 50 per cent of space rent and up to 75 per cent of air fare for the fair. Moreover, all SC/ST/women entrepreneurs and participants from Northeast region are entitled for 100 per cent of space rent and airfare by economy class within overall limit of Rs 1.25 Lakh.
India-China Economic and Cultural Council, China, will organise the China fair, and they have offered the stalls free of cost. The Imported Goods Fair in Seoul of S Korea would exhibit various handicrafts, home furnishing items as well as fashion jewelleries.
The International Expo Riva Schuh, in Garda (Italy) would exhibit various leather/non-leather footwear items and the space rent has been fixed up to Rs 12,000 /sq meter, the officials added.
