Washington, Mar 15 : UCLA Medical Center, the hospital Britney Spears was admitted, will fire at least 13 employees and discipline others for looking at the confidential medical records of the troubled singer.

According to reports in the Los Angeles Times, the staff at target include physicians who tried to snoop at the medical records of the 26-year-old star.

Earlier, the 'Toxic' singer was involuntarily hospitalised at the hospital's psych ward for one week since Jan31 at her doctor's request, reports People.

However, the records scanned by those who are at the point of dismissal were allegedly from previous hospitalizations at UCLA. Though, not much is known about the dates and purposes of those hospitalizations.
