Kamal Nath promises help for fashion industry

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) Union minister of Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath today assured the fashion industry that the government would provide every assistance it required.

Mr Nath said this at the venue of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week where he came to attend the Rina Dhaka show on Day IV.

He said the fashion industry is establishing brand India and should be backed by the government.

About the Rina Dhaka show, the Union Minister said ''The show was great and very creative. It was nice coming here.'' Mr Nath, who left immediately after the show, also appreciated the Indian designers for their work and said the fashion industry is growing and is bound to grow further.

The designers have been demanding government assistance for long now.
