Jammu Kashmir: Ex-Gratia relief for militancy victims

Srinagar, Mar 15: The Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned ex-gratia relief in favour of 28 militancy victim cases of Bandipora district, official sources said today.

They said District level Coordination cum Screening Committee which met District Magistrate, Bandipora in chair, discussed a number of militancy related cases of Bandipora and Sonawari tehsil.

During the meeting, which was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner and senior Police and Army officers among others, has approved ex-gratia relief of Rs 13.20 lakh in favour of 28 such cases.

These included three death cases, two injury and 23 property damage cases.
