BHEL bags $450 mn NTPC contract

New Delhi, Mar 14, 2008 : According to reports, State-owned power equipment manufacturer Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd or BHEL has bagged a $450 million or Rs 18-billion contract from the National Thermal Power Corporation or NTPC.

The contract is to supply boiler package to NTPC"s 1,320-megawatt Barh stage-II supercritical power project in Bihar.
