Students Congress pulls chariot for Sonia

Puducherry, Mar 14 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of the students Congress today pulled the Golden chariot at the famous Manakkula Vinayagar temple here and offered special prayers to mark the completion of ten years as AICC President by Sonia Gandhi.

She is the first to do so.

President of the students unit of the Congress Samraj and Ozhukarai Municipal Chairman N S J Jayapal were among others who pulled the chariot.

The ''Sonia Gandhi peravai'' volunteers garlanded a statue of Rajiv Gandhi here and burst crackers to mark the occasion.
