Madhya Pradesh: Lifer to constable for killing son

Jabalpur, Mar 14 : A fast track court has awarded a life term to a police official for killing his son, who tried to resist him for molesting his wife. The Prosecution said a resident of Civil Lines, head constable Kanchhedilal Thakur, who frequently molested his son Brajesh's wife, axed him to death on May 1, 2007.

His second son had recorded statements against him. Judge Vijay Pande sentenced him for life on March 13.
