Kalaikunda to be most modern air force station under EAC

Salua, Kharagpur, March 14 (UNI) Air Marshal S K Bhan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command (EAC), today informed that a plan was being executed to construct the Kalaikunda Air Force Station as the most modern air station under the EAC.

Mr Bhan, on his first inspection visit to the Salua airbase, appreciated the efficiency of the air warriors of the station and congratulated its station commander Group Captain Vinod Shankar for winning the trophy of the ''Best Rudder Unit'' of the EAC.
